Black Hawk and Chinook pilots and crew members from the 66th Theater Aviation Command, Washington Army National Guard, attend aviator water survival training at Aviation Survival Training Center at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Wash. During the course students are put through a series of tests and problems under water. The tests are designed to mimic the scenario of an aircraft landing in water and the crew must exit through various windows and hatches and swim to safety.
